Be, Do, Have
I encourage you to write your list the old-fashioned way with pen and paper because this method uses older, more established brain pathways from childhood (when you learned to write), which can access deeper thought patterns and subconscious beliefs. A digital device affects the brain differently and can create a kind of barrier to this part of the brain.
Writing by hand, reading the written word, speaking these words out loud, and hearing your own voice impact your brain in different ways.
Each day, focus on one of the following areas, and answer the following questions:
1) In order to feel worthy and successful in the eyes of others, what would you need to BE, DO or HAVE?
2) If you achieved these things, would you feel loved, accepted, good enough, safe, secure, or feel in control, or something else?
AREAS TO CONSIDER:
RELATIONSHIPS (family, friends, partners)
MONEY (how much money would you want to earn etc)
HOME (what type of home/apartment/space)
HEALTH (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual etc)
WORK (career, job title, working hours, income etc)
PERSONALITY (calm, confident, great problem solver, caring etc)
COMMUNITY/PURPOSE (giving back, being a better person etc)
**create some graphical representation of areas – introduce somewhere they can type their ideas as well**
