Private Therapy for Emotional Clarity, Reinvention and Renewal

I offer a high-touch therapeutic experience designed for women navigating midlife transitions – retirement, grief, identity shifts, or the quiet feeling that something deeper is calling.

My approach blends psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and over 25 years of clinical expertise – held in a calm, emotionally attuned space where you can explore what comes next with clarity, trust, and support.

Is This The Right Space For You?

If so, let’s begin with a quiet conversation.

Why This Approach?

Because this isn’t surface-level support – it’s therapy with depth, emotional precision, and meaningful integration.

With over 25 years of experience as a trauma-trained psychotherapist and EMDR specialist, I work relationally and gently, helping you move through what’s been held for too long – and toward a renewed sense of meaning, connection, and wholeness.

We will work together to provide long lasting
change and deeper understanding of your life.

Save this for later - especially this evening. 🌙

This is often what shows up after being with people.

Not because you said the wrong thing.
Not because you lack confidence.

It’s because your system stays alert a little longer than it needs to.

That’s why evenings can feel noisy.
Why your mind starts reviewing conversations.
Why switching off feels harder than it should.

Calm isn’t about mindset.
It’s about letting the nervous system stand down.
You’re not meant to analyse your way to rest.

Calm comes first. Everything else follows.

If this feels familiar,
this is exactly what the Calmer membership is for. 🌿

Sometimes I’ll be brushing my teeth, making a cup of tea, or sitting in traffic…
and suddenly I’m replaying a tiny moment from days ago.

What I said.
How they looked.
The tone.
The energy.

My mind whispering,
“Did that sound wrong? Did they misunderstand me?” 😔

If you’re a quieter person, you’ll get this.
It’s not insecurity - it’s the way we process things deeply.

We notice the emotional “weather” in a room long before anyone else does.

And yes, sometimes that younger part of me still checks for getting things wrong.
But now, when the replay kicks in, I don’t let myself spiral.

I check in with my body instead.
“What do you need right now?”

Usually it’s something calming - a slow breath, a bit of self assurance.

Because when you breathe calmly, you’re sending a signal to your brain’s alarm system that there’s no danger.

And when the alarm settles, the noisy thoughts settle too.

My mind stops over-analysing every detail.
I feel myself settling again.

And the nicest part?
When your nervous system feels supported, the overthinking version of you can finally rest.

Then I smile. 🌿

Flapdoodle 😊

Meaning:
“When your brain invents 37 reasons why that person secretly hates you.”

👉 Feeling a bit Flapdoodle-y this week?

You know… when your brain suddenly invents 37 reasons why that person definitely hates you.

Quiet nervous systems love a dramatic subplot — even when nothing actually happened.
A little calm goes a long way. 🌿

Join The Calmer Circle (£5/mth) if you want fewer Flapdoodle moments and more “ahh… that feels right” energy.
