Exercises – Fun Work (Week 1)
I’m inviting you to read the attached PDF on self-worth every single day for 5-7 days.
Why? Because there’s a world of difference between merely understanding something consciously and truly internalising it on a subconscious level.
Take a moment to ponder this: reading something just once and expecting it to stick doesn’t quite add up. Our fast-paced world has conditioned us to rush through books, but here’s the truth: you only retain a mere 3% of information you are exposed to once. Yes, you heard it right – just 3%!
By immersing yourself in this material day after day, you actively support your mind in digesting and absorbing new insights and revelations. This is proof of your self-awareness expanding.
Unlock the Power of Pen and Paper!
I invite you to use pen and paper to record your reflections, thoughts, and insights after reading the PDF.
There is a certain magic that comes with putting pen to paper. When we write by hand, we engage multiple senses, creating a deeper connection to our thoughts and emotions. This connection allows for a natural flow of expression, granting us access to the depths of our innermost thoughts.
I welcome you to share your reflections at your next therapy session.
To compliment doing your daily reading, also set an intention, to learn something new about self-worth that will help you to move forwards. To really harness of power of intention, recall a time when you felt very determined and focused, with a ‘I will do it’ attitude etc. Make sure it’s a positive experience.
- If you can’t remember a memory, ask your inner child for help. It’s likely a memory will pop up during the day, so look out for it!
- Once you have a memory, notice where these feeling are in your body.
- Now ask your body to make the feelings stronger and witness it happening.
- Now repeat your intention above, whilst feeling these powerful feelings.

Now trust that you will learn something new during the day. It may come in many forms, a thought floats into your head. You may hear someone talking, your mind may wander to a book title. Whatever it is, don’t forget to record it in your journal. This is the worthy part of you and your inner child coming to assist you!
With practice you will soon be able to harness the real power of intention to help you to reach any goal or to help you with any situation.
Congratulations! you have now powered up your intentions.
